Laymani Boxers PUPPY
CONTRACT Please read the following carefully. This is the text of our puppy contract.
1. Firm but kind treatment will be provided for your
puppy. It is very important that at least during the first 6
months of a puppy’s life you socialize them very well with
children, other (friendly) dogs of all sizes and colors, other
people, and various types of animals. If you do not invest the time to do this, they
will not be well-rounded and easy to train as adults. At no time
will the Buyer or anyone else in their family abuse or mistreat the puppy. Any evidence of such and the animal will be confiscated by
the Breeder with no refund of any kind. This IS an animal, not a
child. Raise it with firm rules and confidence in yourself as the
pack leader, and it will be much happier. NEVER cuddle / hug / pet /
or comfort this animal when it is acting afraid of something or
someone. To do so will only encourage the behavior and produce a
very neurotic dog. 2. Your puppy will not
be tied/chained except in temporary or emergency situations.
Chaining can lead to behavior problems. These are family-oriented
animals. They need either human or canine companionship for at least
the majority of the day. Nutritious food will be fed daily, and you
will be provided with a list of good dog foods. Fresh water must be
made available at all times, and we highly recommend that this be
filtered water with at least the chlorine removed and preferably the
fluoride also. 3. We recommend that
interaction with your puppy be supervised, especially with
unfamiliar people and children. Any injuries as a result of
poor/lack of supervision, or otherwise, are in no way the fault of
the Breeder, and the Buyer hereby agrees to accept full
responsibility for the animal and all its actions. This
recommendation is a general one that includes any and ALL canines. 4. This puppy must be
examined by a licensed veterinarian of your choice within 72 hours
of leaving our care to validate your lifetime guarantee, and a
copy of the receipt sent to us immediately. The examination
MUST include a stool sample, so be sure and take a FRESH sample along
with you in a baggie. Your puppy will have been dewormed at least
twice at this point with a wormer purchased from a veterinarian, but
deworming is something that you HAVE to keep up with because puppies
explore their surroundings with their mouth and are constantly
picking up things! Your puppy has also been checked for coccidia, but
it does not always show up in a fecal sample, so additional checks
are necessary after purchase. Puppies can pick up parasites and
bacteria very easily at this age, so further treatments may be
necessary as the puppy’s immune system matures during the next few
months. All vet bills are the responsibility of the owners. No
replacement will be allowed regarding this dog for any reason,
including but not limited to: landlord disapproval, allergy to
animal, disagreement of family, or for any other reason, except for
medical problems as specifically set forth in paragraphs ( 5 ) and (
6 ). 5. To the best of our
knowledge this dog has no serious illness at the time of sale and has
not been exposed to other animals off of our property. We take the
utmost care to protect our puppies with constant disinfecting.
However, we cannot see or control the invisible, so if your puppy
should become sick within the first 72 hours of leaving our
care, you can return him for medical treatment or exchange him for
another puppy. If the puppy was flown to your home, you are required
to seek medical treatment. Your puppy is also guaranteed within the
first 72 hours of leaving our care if the puppy received a certified
diagnosis of parvovirus infection. In such case if the puppy should
not survive, we will replace the puppy with one of equal value from a
future litter. Any and all veterinarian bills while the puppy is in
your care are your sole responsibility. No money will be reimbursed
for any veterinarian bills, pick-up, or flight expenses. All vet
records must be disclosed in advance before replacement is given. 6. If during the lifetime
of this dog a licensed veterinarian diagnoses the dog as having
severe crippling hip dysplasia, severe elbow dysplasia, severe heart
condition, blindness, or deafness, and evidence of the veterinarian’s
diagnosis is presented to the seller at that time, the animal will be
exchanged for another of equal value at once or when available. In
the case of severe crippling hip dysplasia, breeder must see the
x-rays and reserves the right to request that you have OFA read and
grade them also. Your dog MUST BE ON AN UNINTERRUPTED DAILY
SUPPLY OF NUVET SUPPLEMENTS from first day of arrival, using
order code # 31869, in order for this guarantee to be valid. No
replacement puppy will be given if he/she has been bred. NO CASH
REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. Buyer is responsible for ALL vet bills,
including cost of diagnosis, and all transportation costs. If you
choose to keep the dog, buyer will have him/her neutered or spayed,
return the signed AKC registration papers to us, and receive another
puppy at one-half of the current puppy price. Again, buyer is
responsible for all vet bills. Buyer to pay ALL transportation
costs. Replacement of the dog as specified in this paragraph is the
buyer’s SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY in the case of return of a puppy
for the congenital defects as set forth in this paragraph. This
contract applies to the original puppy only and is non-transferable
to a second party. 7. This puppy has had his
first temporary inoculation for parvovirus. Several vaccinations
are required to protect your puppy and are your responsibility. 8. We are one of the few breeders in the U.S. that offer a Lifetime Guarantee and have no problem standing behind our fine animals after careful selection and years of breeding. However, many illnesses and problems are caused by vaccines, improper feeding, tap water, over-exercising, jumping, and environmental poisons. We cannot control these factors once this puppy goes home with you and we can only hope and pray that you will love them and have a genuine concern about their health, including doing your own research. Therefore,
to maintain this Lifetime Guarantee, you must keep this puppy on
NuVet Plus Supplements daily using Order Code # 31869 from
day one of acquiring him/her. The human grade ingredients in these
supplements are far superior to any others. Their phone number is
1-800-474-7044, California time. It takes about a week to get your
first order, so call ahead before the puppy arrives. 9. After purchase of the puppy, Buyer agrees to maintain contact with the Breeder. If at any time during the puppy's life, the owner must relinquish ownership and a suitable home cannot be found, the Breeder must have an opportunity to take the dog in. 10.
By signing this document, you agree that the entire contract of sale
is embodied in this writing. This writing constitutes the final
expression of the agreement between the buyer and the seller, and it
is a complete and exclusive statement of the terms of that agreement.
This contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Ohio, in the
